The LGBTI Senior Community Visiting Service
Diverse Voices is one of a number of local partners who proudly sponsor this program. The Seniors Community Visiting Service matches trained volunteer visitors with LGBTI senior clients who feel alone or isolated from their community due to health, mobility or other issues. The service supports clients to stay connected with others through having regular contact with their visitor for conversation, social connection and/or outings. It operates alongside but not in place of other in-home care and support services that clients might receive or be looking to access.

Volunteer Telephone & Web Chat Peer Supporter
The vast majority of our volunteers at Diverse Voices staff our support line. You do not need to be a professional counsellor to be on line. This is because the strength of our service is that it is peer to peer. Comprehensive training is provided to our peer supporters. Volunteer Community Engagement Positions
Diverse Voices also has a number of other roles for volunteers across the organisation. Should you have a particular skill that you think will be useful to Diverse Voices we would love to hear from you.
